To ensure that you are getting a genuine and new product that is covered by our warranty, always be sure that you are purchasing our products from an authorized retailer. Some locations that you can purchase Jaybird products include but are not limited to:

Jaybird offers a one-year limited warranty from the date of retail purchase or shipment when ordered online, and that coverage does include failure due to perspiration. The warranty extends to retailers who will sell the earbuds, so claims would have to go directly to Jaybird with the original receipt included.

You don't have to wait until Black Friday to take home a fantastic pair of wireless noise-canceling headphones at a discount. Amazon has knocked a staggering $72 off the Sony WH-1000XM3, which just so happen to be the best in the business, dropping them down to only $278.

That's because, after over a decade of iterating on its QuietComfort design, which single-handedly defined the noise-canceling category, Bose has launched a brand new pair of headphones that reimagines the company's clean-lined aesthetic with more minimalism than ever. The new Bose Noise Cancelling 700 takes direct aim at Sony's acclaimed WH-1000xM3, offering many of the same bells and whistles, and claiming the best call quality ever heard from a pair of headphones. Is the new Bose model ready to take down Sony's best? We pitted them against each other in multiple categories to help you decide.Design and fit

Jaybird X3 Wireless Sport Headphones will be available at jaybirdsport.com today and in Best Buy stores and bestbuy.com in the U.S. and Canada in November 2016, for a suggested retail price of $129.99. At CES, Jaybird advertised the price would be $149.95, so it's great to see this high quality headset launching at a lower initial price.

While I enjoyed using the JayBird X2 headset, I could never get it to stay secure in my ears while running in all environmental conditions. This is no longer the case with the Jaybird X3 and I am pleased to move to the X3 from the Freedom for the longer battery life. The Jaybird X3 has a 20 percent reduction in ear diameter so that might be helping with a better fit. I actually now route the Jaybird X3 over the top of my ear and secure it close to my head with the included clips for the best wireless headset experience ever.

The majority of the picks in this guide are wireless. These days, most people prefer the convenience of Bluetooth headphones. Bluetooth models make the best workout headphones because they allow you to keep your phone tucked away and your hands free, and they eliminate the possibility of a cable snagging on equipment.

"If you don't have a massive marketing budget to throw around, you've got to do a lot of your communicating right there in the store and on your website," says Armstrong. "Early on, our packaging didn't actually have the name of the product in any large print like today. The big message was 'secure fit wireless earbuds'. That was a new thing. Then we had lifetime warranty against sweat, and that was good for credibility. The kind of stuff that builds trust."

We've tested over 165 pairs of truly wireless earbuds and in-ear headphones, and below are our recommendations for the best options. They tend to cost more than ordinary earbuds, so check out our picks for the best cheap earbuds if you're looking for something more budget-friendly. You can also take a look at the best in-ears and earbuds, the best earbuds for iPhone, and the best wireless earbuds for more options.

The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II Truly Wireless are the best true wireless earbuds we've tested. These premium buds are the next generation of the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds Truly Wireless and have a less bulky design than their predecessor, which makes them very comfortable for long listening sessions. Although they're still a bit larger than other picks on this list, their build holds an outstanding noise cancelling (ANC) system. Whether traveling by bus or working at the office, these buds can block out a lot of noise, meaning you can focus on your audio. They last roughly 6.7 hours continuously, and their carrying case supplies an additional three charges if you need it.

The best wireless earbuds under $25 we've tested are the JLab Audio Go Air POP True Wireless. These cheap earbuds don't have stand-out features like the Anker Soundcore Life Dot 2 Truly Wireless' extremely long battery life, and like the previous pick, they don't have an EQ for sound customization. You can cycle through a few EQ presets with the onboard controls. With the default EQ setting, they have a bass-rich sound that adds punch and boom to your audio without overwhelming instruments and vocals.

The Jabra Elite 7 Pro True Wireless are the best-sounding true wireless earbuds we've tested. Compared to the similarly priced Anker Soundcore Space A40 Truly Wireless, these buds have a very flat sound profile by default, so you can expect a neutral sound without having to play around with settings. There's just enough bass to give your mixes thump, punch, and boom, while vocals and lead instruments sound clear and accurate. You can customize them to your liking using their companion app's graphic EQ and presets if you prefer a different sound. The app also offers 'MySound', a feature that allows the headphones to optimize their sound to your unique hearing characteristics.

The Jaybird Vista 2 Truly Wireless are the best Î’luetooth earbuds for running we've tested. Unlike other picks on this list, these buds have a rugged and sturdy build, rated IP68, meaning they're fully dust-tight and protected from water immersion, making them a solid choice for tough hikes and outdoor activity. They're also very comfortable and have a stable in-ear fit, so they won't move around or fall out during a run. The case is also rated IP54 for dust and water resistance, so you can toss it in a bag without worrying about dirt or rain damaging your headphones.

Our recommendations above are what we think are currently the best earbuds buy for most people in each price range. We factor in the price (cheaper headphones win over pricier ones if the difference isn't worth it), feedback from our visitors, and availability (no headphones that are difficult to find or almost out of stock everywhere).

In 2016, I compared the Bose SoundSport vs. the Plantronics BackBeat Fit to identify which was the best option for running. Some time has passed since then, and there are now many more options available.

All the exercise headphones I tested performed well and stayed securely in place in my ears while working out. With that said, finding the pair of headphones that works best for you ultimately depends on your personal preferences regarding design, playback control, battery life, and other features.

The Anker SoundBuds Sport NB10 are basic and reasonably-priced sports headphones that offer excellent value. Anker includes a relatively large (12mm) driver for incredibly clear audio, an IPX5 water-resistance rating, and six hours of battery life. Additionally, Anker backs up their offering with an 18-month warranty.

The Jabra Elite Sport headphones are similar to the newer Elite Active 65t, but they lack support for Siri and other voice-activated assistants. Instead, these earbuds feature a built-in heart rate monitor, in-ear audio coaching, and 36 months of warranty against sweat damage.

The Rowkin Pulse offer outstanding audio quality at an incredible price while sharing the same water-resistance rating, support for Siri, and type of microphone as their more expensive siblings. The only downside of these headphones is the below-average battery life of only four hours and the short six-month warranty.

As is so often the case, your requirements and budget will determine what the best workout headphones are. All of the ones I have reviewed in this article offer unique features that may be appealing to you.
